denominator of a fraction is 1 less than the three times of numerator . If 13 is added to the numerator and 8 is added to the denominator then the fraction becomes 1, find the original number.​

Let the numerator be x

So the denominator will be one less than three times of numerator

x/3x-1

And now 13 is add to the numerator

8 add to the denominator

Then fraction becomes one

x+13/3x-1+8=1/1

Now cross multiplying

thus=x+13/3x+7=13/10

=13/10

Answer to this questions=13/10
