denominator of a number 4 is less than its numerator if 6 is added to numerator it becomes thrice the denominator find the fraction

let numerator is a

denominator is a-4

ATQ,a+6=3(a-4)

=>a+6=3a-12

=>-2a=-18

=>a=9

numerator is 9
denominator is 9-4=5

fraction is 9/5..
