Hi.

Here is your answer----

__________________

Let the Numerator of the certain Fraction be x.

According to the Questions,

                Denominator =  Numerator - 4
                                      = (x - 4)
Thus, the Fraction = Numerator/Denomenator
                              = x/(x - 4)

Also,
       6 + x = 3(x - 4)        [As per as Question]
      6 + x = 3x - 12
      6 + 12 = 3x - x
      2x = 18
        x = 9
Thus, Numerator = 9
Denominator = x - 4
                      = 9 - 4
                      = 5

Fraction = x/(x - 4)
              = 9/5

Thus, Fraction will be 9/5.

Here is your answer----

Let the Numerator of the certain Fraction be x.

According to the Questions,

               Denominator =  Numerator - 4

                                     = (x - 4)

Thus, the Fraction = Numerator/Denominator

                             = x/(x - 4)

Also,

      6 + x = 3(x - 4)        [As per the Question]

     6 + x = 3x - 12

     6 + 12 = 3x - x

     2x = 18

       x = 9

Thus, Numerator = 9

Denominator = x - 4

                     = 9 - 4

                     = 5

Fraction = x/(x - 4)

             = 9/5

Thus, Fraction will be 9/5.
