Let the numerator be x
So, Denominator will be ( x - 4 )

fraction \:  =  \frac{x}{ x - 4}

Given, if 6 is added to numerator,it becomes twice the original fraction,

Let's continue according to the question,

 = >  \frac{x + 6}{x - 4}  =  \frac{2(x)}{x  -4 }  \\  \\  => x + 6 = 2x \\  \\  => 6 = 2x - x \\  \\  = > x = 6

Hence,

fraction \:  =  \frac{x}{x - 4}  =  \frac{6}{6 - 4}  =  \frac{6}{2}  = 3

Let the numerator be x
Then denominator=x-4
If 6 is added to x, then
x+6 = 2(x-4)
= x+6 = 2x - 8
= x - 2x = -8 - 6
= -x = -14
x= 14

The fraction is x/x-4
= 14/14-4
= 14/10
= 7/5
