let the denominator be y and numerator be x
so, y=x-4
and x+6=3y
x-3y+6=0
substituting the value of y
x-3(x-4)+6=0
x-3x+12+6=0
-2x+18=0
-2x=-18
x=-18/-2=9
y=9-4=5
fraction=9/5
so, y=x-4
and x+6=3y
x-3y+6=0
substituting the value of y
x-3(x-4)+6=0
x-3x+12+6=0
-2x+18=0
-2x=-18
x=-18/-2=9
y=9-4=5
fraction=9/5
