Due to the meeting of Gulf Stream and equatorial current.  Fog is common around Newfoundland coast because Warm and cold currents meet. When cold and warm ocean current meet, the warm ocean current condenses after getting in contact with cold air and it results into fog.

Argentina has 206 days of fog per year.
