According to Avogadro's law, their no of moles will also be equal. i.e. n .
Ratio of densities is given as -
d1/d2 = (W1/V) / (W2/V)
d1/d2 = (nM1/V) / (nM2/V)
d1/d2 = M1/M2
Rearranging,
M1 = d1/d2 × M2
M1 = 1.12 × 32
M1 = 35.84 g/mol
Therefore, molar mass of unknown gas is 35.84 g/mol.
