Given

  • Density of water = 1000 kg/m³
  • Relative density of metal = 5

Find out

  • Density of metal

Solution

\implies\sf Relative\: Density=\dfrac{Density\:of\:water}{Density\:of\:metal} \\ \\ \bigstar\bf Let\:the\:density\:of\:metal\:be\:x \\ \\ \implies\sf 5=\dfrac{1000}{x} \\ \\ \\ \implies\sf 5x=1000 \\ \\ \\ \implies\sf x=\cancel\dfrac{1000}{5} \\ \\ \\ \implies\sf x=200kg/m^3

Hence, density of metal is 200kg/
