Density of water varies with temperature. What are its consequences?​

Well the biggest consequence of the temperature/density relationship in water is that once a sample of water reaches the temperature 0 deg C it will float when submersed in liquid water.... another consequence of the temperature/density relationship in water is that when one measures a volume of water the measurement is temperature sensitive (ie. a difference in ambient temperature and the temperature that the device was calibrated at will cause error in measurement.)
