Answer:

The appropriate needs of Maslow's hierarchy for each of the given case is as follows -
a. Basic physiological needs
b. esteem needs
c. social affiliation needs
d. self actualization need

Explanation:

Basic Physiological needs are human biological requirements for survival.

E.g. air, drink, food, clothing, shelter, sleep, and sex.

If these needs aren’t satisfied, then the human body will not be able to function optimally. These are the most important because all the others become secondary until these needs are met.

Esteem needs, the fourth level of needs in Maslow’s hierarchy, include self-worth, accomplishement and respect. They are classified into two categories:

(i) esteem for oneself (dignity, mastery, independence)

(ii) the need for reputation/respect from others (e.g., status, prestige).

Love and belongingness (social) needs, are important after physiological and safety needs. Being the third level of human needs, it is social and involves the feelings of belongingness. It refers to a group of human emotional need to build interpersonal relationships, connectedness, affiliating, and being part of a group.

Self-actualization needs, the highest level of needs in Maslow's hierarchy, refer to a person's potential, self-fulfillment and personal growth realizations. This level is often described as the desire to accomplish everything that one can, to become the most that one can be.
