Required Answer:

First of all, Fission is a process of reproduction where organism divides or produce new offsprings asexually i.e. requirement of one parent only. Here, the body of the parent is divided into two or more parts which develops into a new individual.

So, On the basis of division, there are two types:

  • Binary Fission
  • Multiple Fission

Multiple Fission:

We can observe this kind of fission in Plasmodium or the malarial parasite. It is a single celled organism and this one cell divides in such a repeated way that, many daughter cells are produced. And, each one of them becomes a new individual.

Refer to the attachment....

  • Sometimes, Amoeba can also reproduce by multiple Fission if it doesn't find appropriate and suitable conditions.

Explore more:

As we knew about the Multiple Fission, let's know a little bit about the Binary fission also which is a type of Fission process of asexual reproduction.

Binary Fission:

Here, the parent body is divided into two halves (may be equal or unequal depending upon the condition) and they become new individual. The best example is : Amoeba.

  • First the nucleus divides into two followed by cytoplasmic division.
  • Hence, the body divides into two and the daughter cells become a new Amoeba.
