Depreciation is the decrease in value of an item.
Three years ago, Aaron bought a computer for
$930. The computer is now worth $570. Assuming
that the value of the computer depreciates linearly,
what is its yearly depreciation?

initial value 930

current val 570

decrease in val = 930-570 = 360

as the change is linear (assumed)

we can calculate yearly change by dividing the val by 3

360/3 = $120 is yearly depreciation
