Explanation:

if u r looking for derivation of SHM then,

an oscillating particle is said to be in shm then it's restoring force on the particle is directly proportional to the displacement from its mean position and is directed towards mean position

restoring \: force \:   \: \alpha  \: displacement

f \:  \alpha  - x

ma \:  =  \:  - kx

a =  -  {w}^{2} x

 {w}^{2}  =  \frac{k}{m}

w =  \sqrt{ \frac{k}{m} }

 \frac{ {d}^{2} x}{ {dt}^{2} }  =  -  {w}^{2} x

 \frac{ {d}^{2} x}{ {dt}^{2} }  +  {w}^{2} x = 0

this is the differential equation of shm

or if u r looking for simple pendulum then look attachment
