ACCELERATION IS THE RATE OF CHANGE OF VELOCITY..

THEREFORE

ACCELERATION = v - u / t

ACCELERATION IS DENOTEDBY = a

ITS S.I UNIT IS m / s^2

ALSO WE KNOW THAT

F = ma

THEREFORE

a = F / m

HOPE HELPED..

Answer:-

Acceleration (a) - The rate of change of velocity of an object is known as Acceleration.

______________...

So,

  • Let us consider an obj. moving at a velocity of = (u) [Initial Velocity]

Also,

  • Let us consider that it changes its velocity to = (v) [Final Velocity]
  • Let it changes its velocity in (t). [Time]

Since it is the rate of change of velocity,

Therefore,

a = (v - u)/t

Hence, derived.

_____________...

More:-

  • SI unit of Acceleration = m s^-2
  • If an object's initial velocity is greater than the final one, it is said that it is Regarding. [Retardation.]
  • Retardation means "Negative Acceleration" or "Deceleration".
