If the body is at rest, it will remain at rest and if it is moving, it will remain moving in the same direction with the same speed. Thus a body not acted upon by any external force, does not change its state of rest or of motion. This statement is Newton's First Law of Motion

1st law of motion no such derivation it simply statement which are if body is in state of rest will remain at rest until force applied on it. By which we introduced interia ( resist in change of body state of motion. And statement will be if a body is in state of uniform Motion and it will be that state until a force applied on it.
