In parallel

Resistors are said to be in || when P.D across them is same

i \:  =    {i}^{1}  +  {i}^{2}  +  {i}^{3} \\

 \frac{v}{r{equi}}  =  \frac{v}{r1}  +  \frac{v}{r2}  +  \frac{v}{r3} \\  \\  \frac{1}{r{equi} }  =  \frac{1}{r1}  +  \frac{1}{r2}  +  \frac{1}{r3}  \\  \\

In series

E{equi}=E1+E2+E3

r{equi} = r1+r2+r3
