Given

y =  {e}^{4x}

Differentiating with respect to x

 \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{d}{dx}  {e}^{4x}  \\  =  {e}^{4x}  \frac{d}{dx} (4x) \\  =  {e}^{4x} (4) \\  = 4 {e}^{4x}  \\  \frac{dy}{dx}  = 4 {e}^{4x}

Hope it helps! ! !
