f = ma

we know

a =  \frac{(v - u)}{t}

substitute the value of a in the second law's equation.

ie.

f  =  \frac{m(v - u)}{t}

take' t' to the LHS

f t = m(v - u)

expand the RHS side.

f t = mv -m u

Tada!..

PS. You can easily derive the equation by remembering the second law and the simple formula of acceleration. There is not a need to memorize this formula..that is in case your having difficulty..

I hope you mark this as the brainliest!
