Angular momentum L= r×p
L=r×mv
L=m(r×v)
multiply and divide by r²
L=mr²(r×v)/r²
as mr²=I (moment of inertia) and (r×v)/r² =ω (angular velocity)
so L=Iω
L=r×mv
