F_{n} = normal force on the body by the surface of incline

m = mass of the body

θ = angle of incline

g = acceleration due to gravity

a = acceleration of the body parallel to incline

force equation parallel to incline for the motion of the body is given as

mg Sinθ = ma

hence

a = g Sinθ                         (this is the expression for acceleration of the body)

t = time of travel of the body

X = length of incline plane traveled by the body = l

v₀ = initial velocity of the body = 0 m/s

using the kinematics equation

X = v₀ t + (0.5) a t²

l = (0) t +  (0.5) (g Sinθ) t²

t = sqrt(2l/(g Sinθ))
