Likewise, if three or more resistors each with the same value are connected in parallel, then the equivalent resistance will be equal to R/n where R is the value of the resistor and n is the number of individual resistances in the combination. ... The equivalent resistance will therefore be: RT = R/n = 100/6 = 16.7Ω
