Hope it is helpful

Mass of the earth = 6.0 x 1024 kg; mean radius of the earth = 6.4 x 106 m; G =6.67 x 10-11 N m2 kg-2. Acceleration due to gravity at the surface of the earth = 9.8 m/s2. When a body is thrown a body in the upward direction, the kinetic energy of the body converts into potential energy.
