potential difference=work done/charge

v = w/q

w = v*q---------(1)

If 'I' flows through the conductor for time't' then total charge flowing through the conductor is given by

q = It

substitute the value'q' in eq. (1)

w = v*It

E =vIt(joule)

work done=electric energy=heat

w=E=H
