Electric energy is given as the product of power and time.

E= P×t ....1

P=VI

substitute P=VI in 1

E=VI×t

E=VIt

Explanation:

Energy =( V²/R²)t

We know that work done ,

W=QV

.•. P=W/t

now,

P=QV/t

V=IR

P=(Q/t)I²R

=I²R

Energy =P×t

=I²R×t

=(V²/R²)×R×t

=(V²/R)t

energy=(V²/R)t

where,V=voltage

R = resistance

t=time

hope this may help u plz mark me as branilist.....
