We know volt is equal to work done by charge

Or we could say work done is equal to volt×charge

Work done is equal to volt × current × time

Since charge is equal to current × time

Energy is equal to work done so.. energy is equal to volt × current × time

Energy is given as product of power and time.

E = Pt

Hence, electrical energy consumed will be electrical power multiplied by time.

Now, electrical power consumed by a device is given as product of voltage and current.

P = VI

Hence, the electrical energy consumed in time t is,

E = Pt = VIt

(hope that this the answer for this question )
