kinetic energy=(1/2)m(v^2)
m=mass
v=velocity
this is for linear motions .If we consider about angular motions, it becomes
kinetic energy=(1/2)*moment of inertia*(angular velocity^2)
angular velocity=linear velocity/radius of the motion
