You have to use the basic idea.The Magnification is defined as:
If the Object and Image are kept at the same distance the theratioo of the angle subtended by each on your eye is the magnification.
M=Angle made by Image/Angle made by the Object.
Or M=size of the Image/size of the object.
Now in optics Object and image forms similar triangles with base4s u for object and v for image. These similar trianglesyieldd the relation

If there is a series of many lenses or mirrors then multiply all these magnification at each stage.
