the angle between velocity of particle and acceleration due to Gravity is other than 90*. 0* and 180* thats partical motion is projectie motion

Answer:

Projectile Motion : -

Motion in which an object (called a projectile) is thrown with some initial velocity near the earth’s surface, and it moves along a curved path under the action of gravity alone.

Time of flight :-

It is the total time for which the projectile remains in flight.

Let T be the time of flight. For vertical downward motion of the body we use

s = ut   +  \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}

or,

h = 0 \times t +  \frac{1}{2} g {t}^{2}

or,

t \:  =  \sqrt{ \frac{2h}{g} }

Horizontal Range :-

It is the horizontal distance covered by projectile during the time of flight.

R = horizontal velocity × time of flight

  \:  \:  = u \times t \:  = u \sqrt{ \frac{2h}{g} }

So,

R =

u \sqrt{ \frac{2h}{g} }
