Let m be the mass of electron and Vmax be the max velocity of the photo electron by which it will be ejected....
1/2mVmax^2 =hv-©• (fi not)
hv = ©•+1/2m(Vmax)^2
but ©•=hv•
V• ->threshold frequency
hv=hv•+1/2m(Vmax)^2
1/2m(Vmax)^2= hv-hv•
1/2m(Vmax)^2=h(v-v•)
