EQUATION FOR VELOCITY - TIME RELATION -

Distence travelled = Area of the trapizium OABC

S= {sum of paralle sides }*h/2

s={OA+BC}*DC/2

={U+V}*t/2

From the first equation of motion V=U=at

at= V-U

t=V-U / a

S={ U+ V }*t / 2

= {U+V} * {V-U} / 2a

S= {V+U} * { V -U} / 2a

2as= V^2 - U^2

V^2 = U^2+ 2as
