In Physics, specially in celestial machine, escape velocity is considered as the least needed for a free object to escape from a gravitational influence of a large body . So, it can be also considered as the initial velocity needed to achieve a condition. From the surface of the earth, by ignoring the air friction the escape velocity is about 7 miles per second or 25000 miles per hour.

Hope, it should help.

escape velocity is the minimum speed needed for a free object to escapefrom the gravitational influence of a massive body. ... The escape velocityfrom Earth is about 11.186 km/s (6.951 mi/s; 40,270 km/h; 36,700 ft/s; 25,020 mph; 21,744 kn) at the surface.... hpoe it helps plz mark as brainliest
