HEYA..!!!
1st Law states that an object will continue without a change in motion (constant velocity) if there are no outside forces.
2nd Law states that to have an accn, there must be an outside force.
∑F=m⋅a
If F = 0
∑F=m⋅a becomes
0=m⋅a
0=a
And if there is no acceleration, there is no change in motion (1st law).
hope it helps :)

acording to second law of motion
F= mass of the body X acceleration produce by the force applied
F= mxa
and when there is no external force applied to the body then F=0
hence mxa = 0
Therefore a = 0 ( m never can be zero )therefore
(v- u)/t = 0
v- u = 0
v = u
it means when there is no external force applied to the body or net effect of the forces on body is zero then there is no acceleration produce means initial velocity equals to the final body. it means a body moves with same velocity when there is no external force applied i.e Newton's first law also called Law of Inertia.
