Answer:

The formula for kinetic energy is Ek=1/2Mv^2

Explanation:

Derevation:

We studied three equations of the motion.

The realtion connecting the initial velocity(u) and final velocity(v) of an object moving with a uniform acceleration (a),and the dispalement (s) is

V^2-U^2=2AS........mark it as equation (1)

This gives

s=v^2-u^2/2a........mark it as equation (2)

We know that F=ma.Thus fromequation 1 and 2 we can write the work done by the force,F as

W=ma v^2-u^2/2a

OR

W=1/2mv^2-u^2......... mark it as equation (3)

If the object is starting from its stationary position then u=0,then

W=1/2mv^2......mark it as equation (4)

It is clear that the work done is equal to change in kinetic energy of an object.

If u=0,the work done will be 1/2mv^2

Thus the kinetic energy possessed by an object of mass, m and moving with a uniform velocity, v is

Ek=1/2mv^2

Please mark it brainliest. Hope it helps you
