Let initial velocity =u

Final Velocity =v

Initial momentum = mu

Final momentum= mv

By Newton's 2nd Law Of motion

The rate of change of momentum is ∝Applied force ..... ie.

F ∝( mv-mu)/t

F ∝m(v-u)/t

Since a =(v-u)/t

F∝ ma

F=kma

Where k is constant of proportionality and

k=1, So

F =ma
