Derivation Of Kinetic Energy. Kinetic energy of a body is the energy that it possessed due to its motion. Kinetic energy can be defined as the work needed to accelerate an object of a given mass from rest to its stated velocity. ... If the velocity of the body is zero then the kinetic energy will also be zero.

The Answer is..

Second equation Of motion ..S=it +(1/2)at square..using velocity time graph ... consider linear motion of body with an initial velocity u..let the body accelarate uniformly and acquire a final velocity v after time t...

Hope it was useful for uh!!
