Newton 1st Law of motion
___________________________________
A body continues to be in its State of rest or uniform motion along line unless it is acted upon by some external force to change the state.
i.e. acceleration , a = 0 => ∑F = 0
it means ∑Fx = 0, ∑Fy = 0, ∑Fz = 0
__________________________________________________________

Newton's 2nd Law of motion
__________________________________
The rate of change of momentum of a body is directly proportional to the force applied to it , i.e.
F = K.dP/dt
= K.d(mv)/dt
= Km.dv/dt
[as we know, dv/dt = a ]
= Kma
F = Kma where K is proportionality constant . experimentally k = 1 in S.I
F = ma
hence, Force applied on a body is product of mass and acceleration of that body .

Newton's 2nd Law of motion

F = K.dP/dt

= K.d(mv)/dt

[as we know, dv/dt = a ]

= Kma

F = Kma where K is proportionality constant . experimentally k = 1 in S.I

F = ma
