Derive newton's formula for speed of sound in a gas? why and what correction was applied by laplace in this formula​

here d represents density

newton assumed the molecules of gas to be isothermal.

error in newton assumption =16%

laplace assumed the molecules of gas to be adiabatic .

v = root gama *P /d

gama = Cp/Cv

speed of sound comes out to be 332.5 m/s.
