Derivation for newtons second law
According to the newtons second law of motion , the change in momentum of a body per unit time is directly proportional to the unbalance force acting on the body and the change in momentum takes place in the direction of the force .

Referring to equation 1 above,
S = 1/2 t( v-u) + UT.
From first equation of motion,
T = (V - U) /a
S = 1/2 [V-U] / a ( v-u) + u [V-U] /a
=> (v-u)²/2a + (uv - u²) /a
=> ( v²+ u²- 2vu + 2uv - 2u²) / 2a
=> v² = u² + 2as
