Acceleration due to gravity of earth

g = GM/R square

Where G = Universal gravitational constant

M = Mass of the earth

R = Radius of the earth

g = 9.81 m/s2

 

 Acceleration due to gravity of the moon

g' = GM'/R' square

Where,

M' = Mass of the moon

R' = Radius of the moon

g' = g/6

= 9.81 metre per square / 6

= 1.635 m / square
