Area of a trapezium = ½(a+b)h
Giving values as , a= u. b= v
And h= t
Therefore , ½(u+v)t. (1)
As we know v = u + at. (2)
Substituting eq (2) in (1)
½(u + u + at) t
½(2u + at) t
½(2ut + at²)
s = ½(2ut) + ½at²
s = ut + ½at²
