Work done = f × s

 \implies \large \mathrm{ w \:  = m \times a \times s \: }

since f = m×a. {Newton's second law}

Also we have ,

 \longrightarrow \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \large  \mathrm { {v}^{2}  =  {u}^{2}  + 2as}

u = 0

 \implies \:  \mathrm{  {v}^{2}  = 2as} \\ \\   \implies \mathrm { as =  \frac{1}{2}  {v}^{2} }

Substituting in the above EQ,

 \large \bull \: w \:  =  \dfrac{1}{2}  m{v}^{2}

Now ,

work done = KE

THEREFORE ,

 \large \leadsto \boxed{ \mathbf{✧  \: \: K.E. =  \dfrac{1}{2}  {mv}^{2}  \: ✧}}
