Bx + Ay  = AB is equation of straight line having intercepts A and B on the x y axis respectively

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Equation of line is

y = mx  + c

Intercept A  on x axis

=> 0 = mA + c

=> m = -c/A

intercept  B on y axis

=> B = m(0) + c

=> c = B

=> m = -B/A

y = (-B/A)x + B

=> Ay = -Bx  + AB

=> Bx + Ay  = AB
