  • we have displacement(s)=(average velocity/2)*time(t)
  • => s=(v+u/2)*t..............................................(i)
  • now we have acceleration formula=> a=(v-u)/t....................(ii)
  • now in equation (i), v= (2s-ut)/t ........................(iii)
  • now by putting value of 'v' from equation (iii) in equation (ii), we get,
  • a=\frac{\frac{2s-ut}{t}-u }{t}
  • \frac{2s-2ut}{t^{2} } =a
  • 2s-2ut=at^{2}
  • 2s=2ut+at^{2}
  • s=ut+\frac{1}{2} at^{2} (Ans.)

  • v=final velocity
