The expression for electric potential due to a uniformly charged spherical shell is E(s)=q₀/4πR²ε

Let the total charge on shell be q and let R be radius of thin spherical shell

and r be distance from centre of shell to a point outside

1.for a point outside shell

E.4πr²=Q/ε(from gauss law)

so E=q₀/4πR²ε
