PV=NRT where no is a constant of 0.082 if p is given in mmHG

But if not n=8.314 if p is given in atm

Pressure depends upon the force exerted by the gas on the container divided by the total surface area of the container. Thus, we can express it as,  

P = n RT/V

Where n is the number of moles,

R is the universal gas constant,

V is the volume.

We do not include the surface area of the container in the formula because it is not needed.
