Let vertices are A=(x₁,y₁),B=(x₂,y₂),C=(x₃,y₃),D=(x₄,y₄)

Mid point of diagonal AC=(x₁+x₃)/2,(y₁+y₃)/2

Mid point of diagonal BD=(x₂+x₄)/2,(y₂+y₄)/2

In parallelogram diagonal bisect each other at the same points

Therefore:-

(x₁+x₃)/2=(x₂+x₄)/2

x₁+x₃=x₂+x₄

Similarly:-

y₁+y₃=y₂+y₄
