the law states:
"Two bodies having mass attract each other with a force which is directly proportional to the product of their mass and is inversely proportional to the square of distance present between them"
so by defination
F is inversely proportional to r*r (let it be 1)
F is directly proportional to m1m2 (let it be 2)
so by 1&2
F is directly proportional to m1m2/r*r
hence F=Gm1m2/r*r
where F= FORCE OF ATTRACTION
G= UNIVERSAL GRAVITATIONAL CONSTANT
m1=mass o object 1
m2= mass of object two
r=distance present between them
