Answer:

First we need to notice that acceleration (a) is nothing but rate of change of velocity

Converting this sentence as a equation we get

Acceleration = a

= rate of change in velocity (or) change in velocity per unit time

= Change in Velocity / Time ………………. (1)

Let the initial velocity = u

Final velocity = v

The time taken to attain the final velocity from the initial be = t

Therefore, change in velocity = v-u

Hence equation (1) becomes

→ a = (v-u )/t

→ at=v-u

Which leads to

v=u+ at

Answer:

Taking acceleration formula = change in velocity /time

a=v-u/t (v-u = change in velocity)

a= acceleration

v= final velocity

u=intical velocity

t= time

then transform the t to the other side of equal to i.e., at=v-u(as t is divide their if we bring it to the other side it multiplies)

then u to the other side i.e,( u- is we bring it to the other side it becomes u+) u+at=v or v=u+at
