Answer:

Initial momentum =mu

Final momentum=mv

Change in momentum=m(v-u)

Rate of change of momentum= m(v-u)/t (eq 1)

By using v=u+at

a=v-u/t. (eq-2)

Putting the values of 1 and 2

Rate of change of momentum=ma

According to Newtons 2nd law of motion Force=Rate of change of momentum

Force=ma
