Surface Tension is defined as the force per unit length acting in the plane of interface between the plane or any other substance

Surface Energy is defined as =
 Work done to increase surface area
-----------------------------------------------
         Increase in surface area
Relationship between them :-

Surface Energy =  \frac{Fd}{2(l*d)}

 \frac{F}{2l}  = Surface Tension

Surface Energy = Surface Tension
